For Better Employee Collaboration You Must Offer Incentives

Being a business owner or a manager, you must always be thinking about the ways that can help you to increase employee collaboration in your office. Well, there are certain ways that can be used to improve collaboration of employees but in this article we are going to discuss only one technique and that is incentive technique. Everyone loves to get reward and when that reward comes surprisingly then it adds more taste into the incentive. If you want to increase the employee collaboration in your office then you must give away certain incentives in a month. There are different ways to announce incentives in your office.

It is up to you to create a situation because you are the boss and boss can do anything. Since, being a boss, you want to increase the collaboration of your employees in your office. So, in this case it is a great idea to offer different incentives to different employees that have shown a good progress in their respective departments. It is up to you to decide when and how you want to give them an incentive. Keep in your mind that you will need to continue this custom regularly because you want your employees to be collaborated with your company continuously. There are a few tips to offer incentives to your employees.

Keep track of performance:

You should keep a track of your employee’s performance so that you can determine which employee should get an incentive. There are different ways to keep track of their performance. It is better to use any software program that can be found easily in the market. These softwares are very easy to use and they will help you to keep record of the performance of your employees. Once you find that any of your employees is working in a good way then you can offer an incentive randomly.

Make sure it is a surprise:

Employees love surprises especially when these are good ones. For a better understanding, consider yourself as an employee and think about your reaction when your boss comes and tells you that you can take 2 days off from today because you have worked hard and he is satisfied with your performance. This is definitely a good surprise and this is the same thing to which we call an incentive. Giving a few holidays is not a good incentive though because this will reduce the productivity of your work. A good idea is to give some increment in salary or you can also give them a gift such as a gadget or a new laptop. These kinds of incentives are very important for better employee collaboration in a company.

So, next time when you want your employees to indulge in your office activities actively don’t forget to give them an incentive for this. You can also give incentive to a whole team or all the employees as well. You can announce a target in the beginning of the month and give incentive to all those employees that get their target.
